The ground rules for using this site
Short version: use this site for its intended purpose — evaluating and engaging Tronics for municipal software work — and everyone gets along fine. The full terms follow.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using this website (https://tronicsmunicipal.com/), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. "Tronics", "we", "us", and "our" refer to Tronics Municipal, 14 White Oak Lane, Palm Coast, FL 32164, USA.
2. About this site
This site describes our services — accessible municipal websites, document and agenda portals, PDF remediation, and related offerings — and provides educational information about web accessibility and compliance (such as the ADA Title II web rule and WCAG 2.1 AA). It is a marketing and information resource, not a service agreement.
3. Free audit and quote requests
- Submitting the audit / quote request form is free and creates no obligation to purchase anything.
- A free audit is a written gap analysis of your publicly available website against WCAG 2.1 AA, delivered as described at the time of the request. It is an evaluation, not a certification of compliance.
- Any quote we provide is an estimate, valid for the period stated on it, and becomes binding only when both parties sign a separate written agreement for the specific work.
4. Our services
When you engage us for actual work, the engagement is governed by a separate written agreement (proposal, statement of work, or contract) that covers scope, deliverables, fees, timelines, warranties, and liability. These website terms don't replace that agreement; where they differ, your signed agreement controls.
5. Not legal advice
Content on this site — including the compliance guide, deadlines, and exceptions — is provided for general information only and is not legal advice. Accessibility obligations and deadlines vary by entity. Consult your municipal attorney regarding your entity's specific obligations.
6. Intellectual property
The design, text, graphics, and code on this site are owned by or licensed to Tronics and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may view and download material for personal, non-commercial reference. You may not republish, resell, or use our content to compete with us without written permission.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse this site: no attempts to disrupt, compromise, or probe its security; no scraping or automated harvesting of content at scale; no submitting false or malicious information through our forms; no impersonating others. We may block access to anyone who violates this section.
8. Third-party links
The site links to external resources (for example, ada.gov and w3.org) for convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices.
9. Limitation of liability
This site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tronics is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site, including reliance on its informational content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Tronics harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of this site or your violation of these terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from your use of this site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Flagler County, Florida. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version, and continued use of the site after changes means you accept the revised terms.
